VEGAS TRIP!!

so here is the quick summary. went to vegas, played poker, got drunk had a blast!!!

Thursday, i get in and we immidiatly go meed up the the guys find out Tim AND Slim are playing in the $1500 WSOP event with Chris... I;m like FUUUUUCCCCKKK!!! Anyways We hit up the MGM Grand for a $80 tournament. Not a whole lot happened. I ended up busting out. took $40 to the Roulette and made my money back. We go back to the Hilton hotel & Casino.

Friday, we start it out early wanting to get some good sights in than hit up Planet Hollywood for another tournament... This was ths sickest tournament!!! Me Tim Slim and Chris played. We met up with another group of Players. These guys were awesome... ANYWAYS We play... we get down to the final table of 9 players... between our two groups have 5 out of the 9, with Me and Chris being at the final table. after about an hr of play I end up taking a chop with Chris for a 1st & 2nd place finish out of a 90 player field! I take $1500 and chris takes the remaining $1200.
GUESS WHAT THIS MEANS!!! We get dinner than go check in at our new hotel The Venetian... OMFG this is the sickest place!!! I'll have hella pics of our room and everything else when i get back home.

ANYWAYS we get checked in than goto RIO to so i can sign up for the WSOP Event 51 $1500 buyin event. During that time we watch a little bit of the Omaha Event w/ Phil Hellmuth down to final 2 tables. and the start of the HORSE event.. where we saw HELLA big name pros!!

We leave and finally get back to Venetian around 2 and goto sleep because the event started at Noon.

Saturday.... I wake up to chris and tim leaving to work out before the event. I take this time to shower and go get some pics outside. Meet up with Mom and Brandon for breakfast than head back to the room when i find out Chris' Uncles got us a limo for the ride to the RIO.

We get there and it hits! NOON game on, WSOP Event #51, $1500, 2768 players, 297payout. SHUFFLE UP AND DEAL0!! I start out slow knowing we got an hour per blind level... i win a few pots getting myself a little over starting stack going into the break 2hrs later. When I find out Tim is extremely short, Chris is doing decently and same with Slim. 30 minute break over. I sit back down for another 2hrs of play. I see tim walk by my table, sure sign he got knocked out... than before the end of the 4th hours Chris is out also.

Here is wehre it gets serious, Chris an Tim are already out. I'm good, Slim was short stack. I get moved tables about 30minutes into the 5th level of play. still doing my thing and folding folding folding. slim comes up, notifying he is out also... Just me... hr half later i goto into the dinner break with 17,375 in chips with roughtly 1080 out of the 2768 remaining. I walk around during this time and run into Shaun, one of the guys from the other group that we met at planet hollywood, like me he is the last of his group.

Dinner break is over and i go back to my seat... thi is kinda uneventful, i got completely card dead, get blinded & anted away until i got about 10k left when we start up the 300/600 w/ 75ante. i raised with 88 after action folded to me, kid to my left reraises to 4k... i figure he has a big A and I know i have a tight table image. I push over the top... as I'm pushing he mentions something to the dealer than calls showing KK. Oh well... i'm fucked he actually had a hand. GG me!!
